Intelligent Curiosity ...
I believe the most meaningful growth begins when we’re not just willing to see things through but see through things. Today, whether I’m speaking to an audience of one or one thousand, the mission remains the same: build trust while helping them see beyond the obvious.

Someone who opens a door, shares an insight, makes an introduction, or simply shows up when it matters. Over time, I’ve learned that people reveal themselves through their actions. Some build. Some activate. Some collaborate. Some take.
The challenge isn’t just finding more opportunities. It’s learning who belongs at your tables in life, business, and your future.I grew up on a registered seed farm in Saskatchewan where hard work wasn’t something we talked about.
It was simply expected. What followed wasn’t a straight line.
Over the years, curiosity led me into law enforcement, private investigations, software and education, entrepreneurship, investing, authorship, healthcare ventures, and more than a few unexpected detours. At the time, they felt like separate chapters. Looking back, they were all teaching the same lesson.
People matter.
Not because of their title, status, or accomplishments, but because of who they become, who they help, and who they choose to build with. The industries changed. The challenges changed. The people changed. The lesson didn’t.
The greatest opportunities rarely come from what we know. They come from who knows us, trusts us, and chooses to build with us.
That realization became Belongonomics.

The people who create extraordinary opportunities are rarely the smartest people in the room. They’re the most trusted. Trust opens doors strategy can’t. It creates opportunities money can’t buy and turns introductions into partnerships, conversations into collaborations, and relationships into results.
That’s what inspired Belongonomics: The New Economics of Trust and why I believe connection can become your greatest business advantage.
It’s also why I continue to write, speak, consult and build businesses, and host conversations through The Lisa Patrick Show. (coming soon…)
I’m fascinated by the people behind the success stories, the lessons behind the headlines, and the experiences that shape how we lead, build, and grow.
Real builders. Real people. Real insights.
Over the last two decades, I’ve built businesses, invested in companies, advised founders, launched brands, written books, produced podcasts, and helped organizations navigate growth, change, and opportunity.
Today, my work sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, trust, and relationship capital. Whether I’m speaking to an audience, advising a leadership team, interviewing remarkable people on The Lisa Patrick Show, or building ventures of my own, the goal remains the same: Leave people better than I found them.
If you’re looking for a keynote speaker, podcast guest, strategic advisor, or simply someone who sees beyond the obvious, I’d love to start a conversation.
